What you should know before you go
The closest thing to a legal touge run in Japan: the organiser hires the C section of Gunsai’s 6 km mountain road course and states 飽きるほど合法峠を走れます — you can run the legal pass until you are sick of it — because the field is deliberately small. Beginners welcome and any car accepted, grip or drift. Entry by LINE or DM to the organiser. Nothing about the day appears on the venue’s own site, whose road course is otherwise bicycles-only.

About Gunma Cycle Sports Center
Getting there: Niimaki Ōmineyama, Minakami, Tone District, Gunma. Tel 0278-64-1811. Course hire runs 9:00–16:00 with no running 12:00–13:00; the booking desk is open 10:00–18:00 and closed Mondays and Fridays
Circuit fees: There is no individual entry — the whole point is hire, so you either rent a course or join a shop’s event on one. Normal season (Mar–Nov) weekday day rates: full 6 km course ¥440,000, A course ¥176,000, B course ¥204,600, C course ¥330,000, new multipurpose square ¥94,600 (or ¥50,000 for a three-hour slot). Weekend and holiday rates run roughly half again higher, and winter (Dec–Feb) is cheaper. Groups of 20 or more get group rates
