Drift cars for sale in Japan — what is on the market this morning
You want a real drift chassis from Japan, and the first question is not “how do I import one” but “what is actually for sale right now, and what does it cost?” This page answers with the dealer listings themselves: the newest S13, 180SX, S14, S15, AE86 and JZX Chasers on Goo-net, Japan’s largest used-car site, read at dawn on 17 September 2026 and re-read every morning. Year, mileage, price in yen and dollars, where the car sits, and whether it is old enough for the US. Pick one and ask us: we go and look at it, buy it, and ship it.
Prices are the dealers’ asking prices in yen, with dollars at ¥160 to $1. “Body” is the car; “dealer total” is the on-the-road figure for a Japanese buyer (their fees, tax and registration). An export purchase replaces most of that with deregistration, inland transport, freight and our fee, quoted as one number before we buy. Listings sell in days — a row can be gone by the time you write.
How buying one of these through us works
- Pick a car below, or send us a listing you found anywhere. Tell us where it is going and roughly when.
- We go and look. Underside, rails, engine bay, cold start, the mods and the paperwork behind them — video and photos to you before any money moves. If the car is wrong, we say so and look for the next one.
- One total, then we buy. Car, deregistration and export documents, inland transport, ocean freight and our fee in one figure you approve first. We buy it here in Japan and ship it through the licensed exporters we work with.

Where these rows come from, and what they are not
Read from Goo-net’s public listing pages, first page per model, once a day. We keep the numbers, the link and the address of the dealer’s lead photo, which is shown from Goo-net’s own server as a preview of the linked listing; the full photo set and the sales text stay on the listing, which is where you should read them. Nothing on this page is our stock — the dealer decides whether to sell to an exporter, and we find out when we call. Cars sold privately inside the drift scene never reach a listing site at all; that layer is what the search service is for.
Questions people ask before they write
Is the price shown what I would pay?
No. It is the dealer's asking price for the car (the "body" price) in yen, with dollars at ¥160 to $1. The "dealer total" is what a Japanese buyer pays on the road, with the dealer's fees, tax and registration. An export purchase swaps most of that for deregistration, export paperwork, inland transport, ocean freight and our fee — we quote all of it as one figure before we buy anything.
Can I buy any car on this page?
Usually, but not always. These are dealer listings, and the dealer decides whether to sell to an exporter; a few will not, and some cars are sold by the time we call. We tell you either way within a working day, and if the car is gone we look for the next one in the same spec.
Which of these cars are legal to import into the US?
A car can enter the US without meeting current FMVSS and EPA rules once it is 25 years old, counted from the month of manufacture. In 2026 that means the 2001 model year and older, so every S13, 180SX, S14, AE86 and JZX90 on this page qualifies, JZX100s do, and S15s up to 2001. Canada's rule is 15 years, so all of them clear it. Other countries differ — tell us where it is going.
Whose photos are these, and where is the rest of the listing?
The thumbnail is the dealer’s own lead photo, shown from Goo-net as a preview of the listing it links to — we do not copy or store it, and the full photo set and the sales text are on the listing itself. What you get from us on top is our own inspection: underside, rails, engine bay, cold start and the paperwork behind the mods, on video, before you commit.
How fast do these cars sell?
The good ones in days. We read the listings every morning and a row can be gone by the time you write — which is why the first reply from us is whether the car still exists, then what we saw.
