What you should know before you go

Five classes (beginner-intermediate, intermediate, intermediate-advanced, advanced, PVC), 12 places each, with a drift contest judged by D1 driver Kojiro Mekuwa. 10-minute runs × 5–6 plus the contest, 9:00–16:00; gate 6:30, reception 7:15–8:00. Long sleeves, long trousers, full-face or ear-covering helmet, gloves and front/rear tow hooks required. Sportsland Yamanashi bans drifting in its normal sessions, so organiser hire days like this are the only way to drift there.
