What to know before you go

Three courses about 25 minutes from Suzuka Circuit, and much cheaper to run — and the one that matters here is the 820 m Drift D course, 8 corners with a 185 m straight, run clockwise or anticlockwise (逆回り). This is one of the few venues in Kansai where the circuit itself sells drift running to individuals by the hour, no licence needed: it bills itself as a public circuit open to beginners. Formula Drift Japan and MSC Challenge have both run here, and HitomiGO uses it for its non-Meihan drift days. Cars from race machines to road-registered are accepted; no formula cars and no slick tyres. Booking and all signage are Japanese-only.
