D1GP Odaiba 2026: Tokyo Drift Final Dates, Tickets and Access

The D1 Grand Prix 2026 final, officially named 2026 TOKYO DRIFT, runs as Rd.9 and Rd.10 at the Odaiba special venue in Tokyo on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November 2026. Tickets are not on sale yet: the official site says sales are planned from mid-October 2026, and no 2026 prices had been published when we checked the official pages on 27 September 2026. It is the only round of the season you can reach on a Tokyo commuter train, which makes it the easiest D1 weekend to fit into a city trip.

When is D1GP Odaiba 2026, and what is on?

The official round page lists the event name, the venue (お台場特設会場, a temporary course built for the weekend), the dates and “チケット 10月中旬予定”, meaning tickets are planned for mid-October. The series confirmed Odaiba on 13 September 2026 with the words 今年も, “again this year”. The same post says the KUHL Racing custom-car meeting returns alongside the drifting.

On 20 September 2026 D1 added that Red Bull athletes will take part at the Odaiba venue. The series did not name them, so we will not guess.

The weekend matters because the championship ends here. The 20 September post frames the finale as the fight for the series title. That is how it played out in 2025: Hideyuki Fujino (藤野秀之, #66) went into Odaiba 20 points behind Koudai Sobagiri (蕎麦切広大, #31) and won the title at Rd.10 on 16 November 2025. The official report counted 22,859 people over the three days. We are not quoting 2026 standings here. Rd.5 and Rd.6 at Ebisu ran on 26–27 September, and Autopolis still has two rounds to run before Odaiba.

Two terms you will see on every D1 page. Tanso (単走) is the solo judged run that seeds the bracket. Tsuiso (追走) is the chase battle, two cars running lead and follow. In 2025 the Odaiba tsuiso tournament started at 15:30 on both days and the award ceremony ran at 18:40, so the battles ran on into the evening. D1 billed night drifting as part of the Odaiba appeal that year.

What did Odaiba tickets cost last year?

These are 2025 prices, for reference only. D1 had not published 2026 prices as of 27 September 2026. Every price is per person, per day.

The 2025 small print is what a visitor needs to know. A ticket covered one day, so a full weekend meant two tickets. There was no spectator entry on the Friday. All stand seating was reserved and you could not choose your seat location. If advance tickets sold out, there was no same-day sale. Children of primary-school age and under watched free if they sat on a lap. The exhibitor area with the brand booths and the stage was free to enter without a ticket, and a paid ticket also got you into the pit walk.

How did Odaiba ticket sales work in 2025?

The 2025 sale ran on Lawson Ticket under L-code 35636 (an L-code is the event number you type into Lawson’s system). It opened in three waves over five days.

That fourth step is worth knowing about, but it is a 2025 arrangement. The 2026 page does not mention it yet. The main Lawson route is the hard part from abroad: Lawson Ticket’s own FAQ limits phone verification to Japanese mobile numbers and it does not post tickets overseas. So here is where most overseas plans stall. The on-sale date is still only “mid-October”, the seller, sale waves and any overseas option will be announced in Japanese on D1’s site and X account, and the sale itself runs on a Japanese system with windows as short as eleven hours.

Can you get to the D1 final in Tokyo by train?

Yes, and that is the big difference from every other D1 round. D1 has not published the exact 2026 site within Odaiba. In 2025 the address was 東京都江東区青海 台場NOP地区 (the NOP district in Aomi, Koto-ku). The official preview put the start line on the DiverCity Tokyo Plaza side and the main corner on the side facing Tokyo International Cruise Terminal Station.

Leave the car behind. The 2025 ticket page said there was no parking at the venue, that the BMW Tokyo car park could not be used, and that visitors should use paid car parks nearby. Both days were also run rain or shine, with umbrellas not allowed in the stands.

Plan for a late finish. In 2025 the gates closed at 19:30 on both days, after the awards and a course walk. The free area opened at 9:00 on Saturday and 8:00 on Sunday.

How do you fit the final into a Tokyo drift trip?

The final gives you two days in the stands. It does not put you in a car.
