We checked every listing on 8 October 2026, including each seller’s delivery settings. Dollar figures use ¥160 to $1. Bonnets are covered separately in buying an FRP or carbon bonnet from Japan, and whole noses in buying a JDM front clip.
What do used S13, S14 and S15 body panels sell for in Japan?
These are genuine Nissan steel panels only. We left out interior door cards, mirrors, handles, FRP copies and wide fenders.

Doors are titled S13 and 180SX together so often that we counted them as one row. Rear quarter panels barely trade at all: the only genuine one in six months was an unused 180SX right-hand panel listed with its part number, G8112-55F30. If you need a quarter, plan on a repair section cut from a donor shell (see buying a bare drift shell) or on searching by part number. For monthly sold prices on other drift parts, see the parts price index.
Why does the same door sell for ¥1,200 and ¥42,000?
Because the title carries details that change what you are buying. These are the ones that moved prices in this sample.
Read the title, then ask
- Uncut lips. 爪折り無し or ツメ折り無し means the fender lip was never rolled. Uncut pairs sold for ¥81,000 (S13) and ¥62,000 (180SX). An S15 pair with uncut lips but holes drilled (穴あけ加工アリ) went for ¥20,000.
- No spoiler holes. 穴なし or 穴無し on a boot lid means no holes from a wing. S15 lids titled that way sold for ¥66,000 and ¥67,000. A lid with the factory spoiler fitted went for ¥98,000.
- Paint code. Many titles name the code, such as WK0 (S15 pearl white) or 326 (crystal white). A match can save a repaint.
- What comes with it. レギュレーター付き means the window regulator is fitted. S15 doors sold that way went for ¥16,500 and ¥17,500.
- Damage words. 要補修 (needs repair), 補修ベース (base for repair), 凹エクボ (small dents) and サビ (rust) all appeared. Two S13 fenders titled 新品 (new) were long-stored stock that still mentioned rust.
- Early or late. Titles say 前期 (zenki, early) or 後期 (kouki, late), and 180SX ones also say 中期 (mid). Ask whether it matches your car.
The very cheap doors were cheap for a reason. The ¥1,000 S13 door was pickup only, and the ¥1,200 and ¥2,200 S15 doors would not go to a private address. Listing terms like ジャンク and 現状渡し are decoded in what ジャンク means on Yahoo! Auctions.

Can a door or fender be shipped from Japan?
Sometimes by EMS, but only if the packed box fits. Japan Post’s EMS limit, checked on 8 October 2026, is 1.5 m long and 30 kg to the US, UK and Canada. Length plus girth is capped at 2.75 m for the US and 3 m for the UK and Canada. Australia is 1.05 m and 20 kg, and Germany 1.05 m and 30 kg. We found no official dimensions for Silvia panels, so ask the seller for the packed size.
Inside Japan, the seller’s choice of carrier is the first limit. Yamato’s 宅急便 takes boxes up to 200 cm (length plus width plus height) and 30 kg. In our 130 listings, 45 named a freight carrier such as Seino Transportation, Fukuyama Transporting or S-Line Gifu. One S14 boot lid seller wrote that Fukuyama and Seino cannot deliver to private homes, so private buyers must collect at a depot.
For the freight and crate options once a panel leaves the seller, see shipping oversized parts from Japan and EMS vs courier vs sea.
Where do overseas buyers get stuck?
At the seller’s door. Here is how the 130 sold listings were set up for delivery:
| Delivery setting | Listings |
|---|---|
| Shipping quoted only after the sale | 64 |
| Cash on delivery (着払い), cost unknown until it arrives | 39 |
| Fixed shipping shown before bidding | 22 |
| Not stated | 5 |
| Pickup only (引き取り限定, 直接取引限定, 手渡しのみ) | 7 |
| Depot or business address only (個人宅配送不可, 営業所止め) | 6 |
One S14 fender seller put it plainly: the item was too large to pack, so collection only. Two 180SX fenders were collection only from Hirosaki in Aomori. A proxy service can only forward what a seller sends to its warehouse. A panel nobody will box, or one that only goes to a depot, never gets there.
We handle the collection step
We pick up the panel from the seller or the freight depot, check it in Japan and send you photos and a walk-through video of the actual part: dents, rust in the seams, the lip and the paint code. You decide before you pay the balance, and then we pack it for export. Have us collect, check and pack your used Silvia door or panel.
Which buying route fits you?
| Route | What you pay | Works for |
|---|---|---|
| DIY through a proxy | Sold price + proxy fees + domestic shipping + export freight | Panels where the seller ships to a home address and the box is inside the carrier’s limits. You see only the seller’s photos |
| Collected and handled | Actual costs (part, collection, packing, freight) + our fee, with the total quoted first | Pickup-only and depot-only panels, or any panel you want checked before you commit |
Duty depends on your country. See the import duty guide. For what Nissan and others still make new, see discontinued OEM parts for drift cars.
A used genuine panel from Japan is good value when it is straight, the right version and the right colour, and when someone can actually get it out of the seller’s garage. Check the first three in the title, and plan the fourth before you bid.
Frequently asked questions
How much is a used S15 Silvia door in Japan?
On Yahoo! Auctions, 11 genuine S15 Silvia door listings sold between April and October 2026 for a median ¥15,000 (about $94), from ¥1,200 to ¥42,000. Four sold at exactly ¥15,000. Doors sold with the window regulator fitted went for ¥16,500 and ¥17,500. Across all S13, S14, S15 and 180SX doors, 24 sales had a median of ¥15,000, as of 8 October 2026.
How much is a genuine S13 or 180SX front fender from Japan?
As of 8 October 2026, single genuine S13 front fenders sold on Yahoo! Auctions for a median ¥16,500 (16 sales, ¥4,100 to ¥41,000) and single 180SX front fenders for a median ¥18,000 (20 sales, ¥3,100 to ¥40,000), between April and October 2026. Left and right pairs cost more: an uncut S13 pair titled 爪折り無し (lip not rolled) sold for ¥81,000, and an uncut 180SX pair for ¥62,000.
Can a Silvia door or fender be posted from Japan by EMS?
Only if the packed box is inside Japan Post's limits. As of 8 October 2026, EMS accepts up to 1.5 m in length and 30 kg to the US, UK and Canada, with length plus girth of 2.75 m for the US and 3 m for the UK and Canada. To Australia the limit is 1.05 m and 20 kg, and to Germany 1.05 m and 30 kg. Many sellers in Japan send these panels by freight carriers such as Seino Transportation, which in one listing we read would deliver only to a depot, not a home.
Why do so many Yahoo! Auctions body panels say pickup only?
Because a door, fender or boot lid is big, easy to dent and awkward to box. Of 130 genuine S13, S14, S15 and 180SX panel sales we read on 8 October 2026, 7 were pickup only (one seller wrote that the item was too large to pack), 6 delivered only to a business address or carrier depot, and 103 showed no fixed shipping price when bidding closed.
